Unlike typical coworking spaces, BOTA House is a boutique workspace in Spring Valley, designed for high-impact work and an experience beyond simply having somewhere to work or meet.

Membership is intentionally limited to preserve the intention behind the house.

THE IDEA.

The quality of a place shapes the quality of the work.

We believe the environment in which you work matters. The right surroundings can change how a working day feels — giving you room to be inspired, focus, meet well, or simply work differently.

With our roots in Ethiopia, we chose the name BOTA for our House because it means place or space. It also carries the idea of finding where something belongs. In Amharic, “Bota sichiw” can be understood as give it a place.

BOTA House is our interpretation of that idea: a thoughtfully designed workspace set within a private garden in Spring Valley, Nairobi. A place to settle in, a place to work, a place to meet, and a place to step away when you need to.

The House.

BOTA House is for people who care about how and where they work.

Located in the quiet neighbourhood of Spring Valley, BOTA House offers a boutique setting just minutes from central Westlands and Nairobi’s major business hubs. It’s conveniently positioned near Waiyaki Way, with easy access to the Westlands Expressway, Riverside, the UN area (Gigiri) and Upper Hill.

Inside, you’ll find thoughtfully arranged spaces that create a calm, intentional setting with room to move through your day. There are open workspaces for getting into your work, quieter rooms when you need more privacy, informal places to pause or gather, and comfortable spaces to change your pace. Set within 1.5 acres of mature gardens, you can work under the trees or settle into our Sunroom and Fireplace, filled with natural light and surrounded by nature.

BOTA is ideal for individuals and small teams who have reached a point where working from home or meeting in crowded places no longer works, and want a more considered place to work and belong.
